Chris talks about FIRST SNOW November 2008 Jacob couldn't wait to get out into the snow on Saturday, 11/22. It was the first snow of the year. Big,
fluffy flakes stuck to the ground. So, we trekked out to Camp Coyote to take a look.
Fortunately, the camp chairs
and outside equipment had already been hauled to the barn for storage. Jacob made the first tracks out to The Bunkhouse (with
friend, Tiger the cat). Of course, he had to stop to make a few snow angels.
We checked the inside of The Bunkhouse. Dry and considerably warm, given there was no heat. Once we
get a wood stove in the building, it will be perfect for winter camping!
